Recipe Tin Finished Product

Just after I worked on the recipe tin my daughter called and asked me to write down some of my versions of recipes for her birthday....what a perfect way to package those recipes...LOL So I have finished decorating and have created dividers for the tin, there are also a couple of 4x6 recipes that I did for swaps in there...I'm working on my recipes this weekend...I hope she likes it.

Here are a few samples of Recipe Cards that I have made for swaps recently....I'm wanting to join a recipe swap group that a friend of mine belongs to so I thought I'd post a few samples in case they stopped by for a look at my work...

While I'm at it...I went to a crop last night so I thought I'd include some pics of the Recipe Tin I'm working on for a Christmas Present...the way it's shaping up it may be for me!!! LOL

I will put a nameplate on the top when I decide who it is for and I'm out of Red Fun-Fur so I'll have to fuzzy up the handle later...

Gingerbread House Paper Piecing

Just thought I would share my newest paper piecing...hot off the cutter this morning.

The gingerbread house from the MyScrapChick gingerbread collection...isn't it sweet with its' glittery snow on the roof and chimney, whispy smoke and microbeaded gumdrop bushes...makes them look like sugar coated...LOL

Got Frosting....

I bought these paper piecing files for SCAL and put these two together this morning...aren't they adorable? I'm going to do the pre-school's monthly reading bulletin board with these for the month of December...then each kid will get gingerbread diecuts and frosting splats to write their books on...should be a really interesting board....LOL

Friends Flip Word Book

I'm finally getting some use out of that Bind-it-all

I bought almost a year ago...

Here is another wordbook that I've been working on...

I need add a few more decorations and pics to finish it up,

But I think it is turning out okay...

Did find a defect in the DS software or the

Pooh Font Cartridge while making this, I'm still

waiting for the tech guy to call me back because the

explaination I received from the first line of

support was too silly to be believable... I've

added a link to the file if you would like to download it...If you

have a problem cutting out the upper layer "R" let me know,

I enlarged it from the original file so that it would cut.

My First Word Book Design

I decided to create a wordbook for Halloween to share with you. This blog seems to be moving a bit slow, I'm not sure how everyone else does it, but maybe soon I'll get the hang of things and be able to start sharing more with you.

Figured everyone else is doing it, so I might just as well jump in with both feet too and make a blog of my own. (How many times did my mom warn me about not doing it because everyone else was....LOL)

I consider myself a "Jack of all trades-Master of none" when it comes to crafting. I have a wide variety of things that I love to dabble in; cooking, gardening, canning, sewing, quilting, photography, card making and scrapbooking is my newest craze.

Maybe one of these days I'll get brave enough and design something with my Design Studio that will be worth sharing....but for now I'll just be posting some pics of things I have made for you to see... Keep checking back.
