Finally some crop time.

Here's a layout I did at the Lansing crop in February...Was a great time. We were able to meet up with our new friends from the Standish Crop..fun, fun, fun.
I used the Pixar cartridge for this page. The car is my "new/old" car I just got this past fall...a 1994 BMW Z3 Roadster convertible that my grandson calls "Eve" from the movie Wally. Thought that was a great name for her, they look a bit alike don't they..LOL
I'm hoping to have more things ready to assemble at the Novi crop in May. I'm pretty exicted about the Mega Meet and Provocraft coming to it. Will definitely be taking a camera to that one.

Megasaurus page...

Finally finishing up some of the Monster Truck Show pages from last years show...going back to school sure has put a crimp in my scrapping time...LOL Luckily it will be over soon...just a few odds and ends to finish up this fall then I'll have earned my certificate in graphic design..I'll be spending the summer working on my internship which will be creating files and setting up my website to distribute them if I don't find a different venue for distributing them...

Some Updates...

School is winding down a bit and doesn't seem to be as time-consuming this semester (yet...LOL) so I thought I would update my blog with a couple of tutorials that were requested when I put my "From My Kitchen" recipe pages up on the cricut message board...figured I should post them here since I applied to be on a design team and I hope they stop by to see some of my work.

Click here to download or view the tutorials in 4shared.
Thanks for looking.

Couple of new things I've worked on today...

Here's my 2-page layout from the Monster Truck show...As I was taking the picture of the kids in the tires I knew I had to make a giant 2-page layout with the kids in the center of the wheels, still need to do a little more work and journalling, but I love the way it came out...

Here's another layout in the Monster Truck Series. Connor was soooo excited and full of energy that the had to wrestle with poppa so this was how the Monster Truck Night started...LOL

Here's a layout I did from yesterdays birthday pictures...the day was so nice and the kids had a great time outside playing Tee-Ball...

Be Yourself

Here's a layout I whipped together fairly quickly today while waiting for my hubby to get home so we could go out...(he was late-of course-so I finished it...LOL)

I saw a video on YouTube that showed this being made so I tried to do it exactly as they did (different colors...but same concepts). This was made with cuts from the Graphically Speaking cartridge. I must say I had a hard time not "inking/chalking/embellishing" this layout, it's probably the only layout I have in my collection that isn't enhanced with other things besides just paper.

I like this and I think it has given me the "push" I need to get back into making my own pages. Maybe I'll pick a new cartridge every couple of weeks and make a layout using items from each cartridge. What do you think?

Bike Riding Layout

I whipped this layout up this morning after my grandson spent the night with us...he wouldn't ride the tricycle and bicycle last year, but seemed pretty amused by them this year. He'll be 4 years old this month and has finally decided he wants to ride a bike...LOL

The bike and New Wheels came from a pattern I purchased at visualdesignsbychris.com . She makes the most adorable patterns for diecut machines.

Nasty wind outside...might as well work on the blog...

Just a few more things that I finished up for some swaps...I'm getting ready to go back to school so I wanted to have my commitments done as far in advance as I can...I've only got 1 swap each month through the end of the year to work on so I should be able to get them pretty close to done by the time school rolls around...

thanks for stopping by and taking a look around..
